Maybe my cat just doesn't like red. :-) My Sammy has shown no interest in this product whatsoever. I even added some catnip to get his attention. After the first day of checking it out, he has studiously ignored it ever since. On the upside,this is a well-made product. I like the way it folds up for shipping or storage and it looks like it would hold up to cats pouncing on it. I plan to pass it on to another cat owning friend to see if his cat finds it more interesting.

I have 2 cats... both looked at the cave and only one kind of likes it. While waiting for the cave to arrive, I saw the same item at Walmart and purchased it so I have 2 that can hook up together and it made it a little more interesting for the one cat that will go inside. It is okay but there isn't has much playing as I thought there would be.

My super active two year old cat loves this cave/tunnel even after 4 months. She's indoor/outdoor and tends to turn her nose up at most toys, preferring the wonders of nature. She hasn't tired of her *tent* as I call it. She like to sit outside it with her head inside the tunnel and *hide* while she waits for me to throw her a ball, then run through. Very ggod value for the money and quite sturdy. I have been connecting it to a pop-up mesh hamper with a hole cut in the bottom. Now I'm even going to spring for the matching cat cubes.

My 2 8week old kittens absolutely adore this item! The crinkle pad is a blast, I'm not using the tunnel but they love popping in and out of the holes, pouncing on each other from on top, collapsing it around them and then foraging around inside, curling up in the hole when it's collapsed, climbing on top without collapsing it (they're so small, it can be done!), and really just everything about it! By far the best 8 bucks i've EVER spent on a cat toy!

I bought this product on a whim not long ago. It was cheap and I thought, "Hey, if she doesn't play with it then no big deal - its a cheap buy."
Well, I am very happy to say that impulse buying is not always a bad thing. My cat positively LOVES this thing. Alot of people in the reviews seem to claim that the fact that toy can collapse is a bad thing - Not for my cat. I don't think she'd like it really as much if she couldn't charge inside of the thing and roll it over or pull the sides in as if attacking it.
This simply little product is really a must have for cat owners. It just never seems to get old or dull.
