The top of the bed is a soft faux sheepskin and the base is a durable poly/cotton blend. To keep it clean, unzip the cover and throw it in the wash. My large dog went right to it and is very comfortable. It has a zippered cover so I can wash it. I need to do that.

After looking all over for the perfect dog bed for our spoiled, older, arthritic Lab, I found this bed. The price is very reasonable and the pad is VERY thick and cushioning for his old joints!
