Cabinet Magic! June 19, 2008

We own several rent properties and have been facing making a decision about the old & worn out cabinets in most of them. Recently, while working on a vacant property, I happened to stumble on to Formby's Lemon Oil Treatment. Not expecting miracles, I bought some hoping for any improvement at all. After washing the cabinets with Murphy's Oil Soap (the tenants we vacated were both heavy smokers) I pulled out the Formby's Lemon Oil Treatment and began applying it to the newly cleaned cabinets. I honestly COUL NOT BELIEVE MY EYES. I'm not exaggerating folks, it was unreal - with one swipe the scratches and cracks just disappeared, the stain brightened and the cabinets had SO much luster and shine, I was truly in awe. Being the skeptic I am however, I fully anticipated this "magical transformation" to be short-lived, thinking once the very dry wood soaked it in, the dull and cracked and just awful looking cabinets would return. Much to my amazement, the next day they still looked great. Two days later - great still; a week later I began noticing a little dullness. NOW bear in mind, these are rental properties and the tenants had NOT maintained (or even cleaned) anything - much less the cabinets, so they're in FAR worse shape than most folks' cabinets. I applied a second coat of Formby's Lemon Oil Treatment about a week after the initial one, and as of now they still look fantastic - not new of course, but REALLY REALLY good! Amazing, and I know it probably sounds like I'm exaggerating, but I'm not - I don't impress easily and this sure did impress me a LOT!
