Kaytee Chinchilla Dust Bath is a high quality, all natural dusting powder. It protects the chinchilla's coat by eliminating extra oils and moisture, leaving it healthy and clean. Directions Place a layer of Kaytee Chinchilla Dust in a flat pan. Place chinchilla in dust bath for five to ten minutes. For a healthy coat, use weekly or more often as desired.

This is a very good product and our chinchilla loves it! It makes its fur very smooth. However - The dust/powder is so fine and light. After each bath, the dust will fly around the air and it is everywhere. It does not only make your room full of dust, but also bring some potential problem to your breathe system.
Other brand such as SuperPet may not be as good as this one in terms of cleaning (SuperPet one is a sand bath, not dust/powder bath), but our chinchilla seems very happy with this brand. Now it just makes our room cleaner and the air is a lot better.

I've tried hundreds if not thousands of other "dust baths" for my Chinchilla but this is the greatest!!! Don't be fooled by cheap imitations that probably come from clothes dryer lint traps or the shelves of libraries. Word on the street is that this particular brand of Chinchilla dust comes from the finest garment factories in China. Pamper your Chinchilla with Kaytee Chinchilla dust bath and you'll have one happy little rodent on your hands.
